Job Description:
- Prepares enquiry plans and documents to suppliers that will be used as basis for pricing
 - Obtains, compiles and evaluates quotations from the respective suppliers/vendors according to tender/contract requirements
 - Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labour costs used in the tendering process
 - Carries out the detailed breakdown pricing in the excel spreadsheet
 - Review and interpret Contract Documents with recommendation for contractual dispute
 - Source, negotiate and procure trade packages in compliance with requirement and time schedule including drafting of Subcontract Document
 - Ensure that procurement functions are carried out in a highly ethical manner and all decisions are made on objective and defendable grounds
 - Initiate, assist and lead in contractual and Variation management and documentation
 - Assist in setting up and updating of projects budget on monthly basis
 - Follows up effectively on payment certificate and payment with the clients
 - Ensures the timely submission of VO cost on day to day or weekly basis and communicates with the project manager; timely submission of monthly progress claims; final account closing.
 
Requirement:
- Recognized Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying or other related discipline from reputable institutions.
 - Min. 3 years local working experience in related field; familiar with contract administration, preferable in steelworks industry.
 - Demonstrated good letter writing skills in respect of contract provision and external communication
 - Good knowledge of construction related by-laws compliance
 - Excellent use of MS Office especially Excel
 - Completed at least one project account finalization
 - An eye to capture critical details and items in understanding drawing convention against BQ
 - Works well under fast-pace environment
